Ideas Sought to Raise Recycling Profile

13 Apr 2009

Guernsey Islanders are being asked for their opinions and ideas about how to increase recycling in Guernsey.

The Recycling Advisory Forum has said that is wants to involve younger people, but anyone interested must be free for meetings on the last Tuesday of every month.

About 30% of islanders’ waste is recycled, but Guernsey’s Mont Cuet tip is still estimated to be full by 2019. An application form to join the meetings is available online at the States of Guernsey web site.
