Electrics Recycling Proves to be a Great Success
A new scheme set up on Oxfordshire to recycle electrical items has been called a success with approximately 1200 goods being collected over the program.
The local District Council, Cherwell organised vans tov isit the district on three Saturdays in March to collect small electrical goods from local residency’s. Over 400 people dropped off goods including TVs and radios, vacuum cleaners, hi-fi equipment and PC’s
The council made it clear that the goods will be recycled rather than dumped in landfill.
