Solar Heating Tubes Can Heat Your Home

Keeping up with the changes in the rental market Can be difficult. As you probably know, there are just two ways to stay ahead in the property game. One is to increase your profits, which normally involves increasing your rent; the other is to cut your operating costs. In today’s competitive business, increasing your tenants’ rent could cost you your tenants, as tenants might simply choose to look elsewhere. With the market being what it is, it would be easy for them to find buildings that have lower rental rates. Consequently, if you want to stay ahead, the best option is to cut your expenses. Solar heating tubes reduce heating costs, lowering one of the larger bills that cut into your profits, and do so for less than you may think.

Irrespective of whom your tenants are, regardless of whether you own an apartment building, industrial, commercial, or any other kind of property, your tenants use hot water. Powering your building’s heating system is probably one of your biggest costs. Using solar heating tubes to heat your water will take a large bite out of the money you spend on the electricity you need to consume to keep your tenants in hot water, therefore reducing your expenses (and your bottom line) considerably. Whatsmore, solar heating tubes are much more efficient than solar panels and will work all year round.

Solar heating tubes are cylindrical tubes which absorb sunlight and trap its energy in the form of heat. So much of the tubes’ surface is used, and for such long periods of time, that they are more effective than conventional solar panels. As a result solar energy has become a serious option in those locations where it was previously thought to be ineffective.

The solar heating tubes collect energy inside the cylinder, transferring that heat to an inner blade and inside that, a tube of fluid. That liquid super-heats to 170 degrees Fahrenheit and is then transferred into your heating system.  Put simply, this means that your building’s hot water is heated by the natural heat of the sun. Solar heating tubes also present you with a second way to reduce heating costs; by using that heated water to heat the building itself.

The bottom line is that solar heating tubes will reduce heating costs. This will give you an advantage in a tough market. With most of the civilized world calling for companies and individuals to switch from carbon based fossil fuels to green energy, you should seriously consider investing in solar heating tubes as a way to reduce heating expenses. Look out for government programs that might defray some of the expense associated with installing solar heating tubes and other eco-friendly energy sources.

Of all the benefits, perhaps the best reason to install solar heating tubes is so that your tenants know that you are doing everything in your power to keep their energy costs and carbon emissions down. You may even find, should you be advertising for new tenants, that tenants are willing to pay more to rent buildings that will save them money in the long run and help the environment.
